About Me

One of my earliest remembered dreams as a child was of being chased by a witch on a broom with my sister.  We sat on a bridge to rest but as the witch reappeared behind us, a water serpent wrapped itself around our legs, preventing us from running.  I have never forgotten this dream and continue to reap insights from its profound symbolic interplay. As a teenager, I carried and circulated a community dream journal while on tour around the country with drum corps.  I have noted my dreams throughout my whole life and always felt strongly that my flying dreams were more than ‘just a dream’ but that on some level of my being I am, in fact, able to fly- have never forgotten how.

I am a Certified Dream Work Practitioner with an MFA in Dance and a secondary emphasis in Ethnic Studies.  I hold a BA in the Inter Arts with a Concentration in Dance/Movement Studies and Minor in Traditional Eastern Arts from Naropa University.  In addition to teaching and choreographing, I studied and performed for many years with Fara Tolno’s Kissidugu and Maputo Mensah’s Logo Ligi African Dance Companies.  I have worked professionally in JEDI, Student Services, Academic Advising, taught undergraduate courses, facilitated workshops and coached in colleges, universities and K-12.

The study of Energy Medicine and many other healing arts has been integral to my journey.  In 2019 I began to engage in ancestral healing and reverence work and took my first official course on dreams with the beloved elder Yeye Luisah Teish.  This is when the deeper level magic of dreams began to make itself known to me, and it became apparent to me that this is one of my sacred gifts. All human beings come to this world to fulfill a higher purpose. Part of my life purpose is to share the gift of dream work, and in January of 2023 I completed my Dream Life Coaching/ Dream Work Practitioner certification training with Kelly Sullivan Walden.  My commitment is to deeply assist with the awakening of our higher potentials and purposes, drawing upon the profound wisdom of dreams and synchronicities. Through attentiveness to, and activation of, our nocturnal and waking dreams, we come into greater alignment and live more radiant, fulfilling and harmonious lives.  And so it is…
